MH 100% PVA cold water soluble film is a transparent film made from 100% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) that dissolves completely in cold water, used as a backing for machine embroidery on plush and openwork fabrics.

The film is placed under or over the fabric to support stitches during embroidery, then rinses away in cold water without leaving residue. Because it dissolves at low temperature, it suits delicate and plush materials such as towels and mink-style fabrics that cannot take hot water. The pure PVA construction is solvent-free and eco-friendly.

Beyond embroidery, MH 100% PVA cold water soluble film is also used for dissolvable laundry bags and protective packaging. Thickness and width can be produced to a buyer's specification.
